Accessibility

Audio podcasts are now a significant source of information for the visually impaired, opening up whole new worlds to them. They are now able to access content from around the world and listen to local stories from places they may or may not have the opportunity to visit. All the podcasts produced by edgecast are suitable for visually impaired people and any on screen graphics can be produced in a font recommended by DDA / RNIB in their guidelines. For hearing impaired visitors, we can subtitle the enhanced and video podcasts and these are also available in text format using Windows Media.

Dynamic User Upload

edgecast offers this additional marketing functionality to complete the total solution we are offering. DUU allows visitors to upload their own videos/text and images on return from their visit to your destination, giving valuable user feedback which can be used for marketing purposes, as well as providing additional information for future visitors.
