What we do

At edgecast we apply to our podcast productions the same research skills and technical expertise used in producing professional radio and television broadcasts and audio visual interpretation.

Pre-Production

We will work closely with you to understand your requirements so that we are able to storyboard your podcast prior to production taking place. You know most about your destination so we will work closely with your dedicated staff, using their knowledge and your existing archive material. However, if no archive exists, we will work with one of our professional freelance crews to produce sound and images of the highest broadcast quality. This means that the files can be output in a variety of ways in the future. For example, you may want to produce a DVD for sale or play a podcast on a plasma screen at a particular site.

We submit first drafts of scripts to you and make your amendments after which we will record the script. At the same time we will submit design concepts for you to agree. After that you just leave the rest to us, including all the technical stuff. We will deliver a file to you which sits on your website for your visitors to download while you sit back and wait for them to arrive.
